Buying a new Surfboard

You’ve bought boards before. You know what you are looking for and want a new board. Here are the best ways to make sure you are getting the right board for you.

  1. Bring your current board with you. This the best way for us to see what you are surfing at the moment what you like and what you don’t like. It’s a great way to get the ball rolling when buying a new surfboard.
  2. Do your research. Get online, go through the models, watch the video’s and read the write-ups. These will tell you most of what you need to know.
  3. Foam is your friend. Yep keep the foam and volume up at the start of your surfing dropping in size and volume to early will 100% slow your progression down.
