Anyone who doesn’t care about normal. This board is going to suit someone who enjoys creating fluid lines and catching lots of waves, but doesn’t just want to cruise, it is all about crushing lips and burying rail we are just doing it on a midlength.

The over view
Catch the wave easy, carve through your turns easy, figure out what board you wanna take in easy. The only thing hard about this board is trying to get back off it.
The outline has taken ideas from a small-wave groveller through the tail, its essentially a hipped shortboard. The real magic happens when you add the rail length of a midlength pulled into a wider or curved nose, you get release off the top (yes we are saying this about a midlength) yet tonnes of flow on rail.
The rails are pinched due to the flatter deck to hold foam, but the apex is still 60/40 to give that light lifted feeling of a shortboard when committing to a turn, the rockers are relatively high for a midlength, but low for a shortboard, the curve is taken from a shortboards notion that being on rail is favoured but the mid point of the rocker is flatter due to the over extension of the boards length compared with a standard goto shortboard. This gives you easy flow, great paddle and great stability. In turn this will aid your performance surfing on a longer board.
The concaves are vee through the tail into double through the fins and up to the mid point, where we then feel the vee come back and split the water from the entry. The whole bottom set up is offering you smooth transitions and forgiveness. The foil tapers out at the back of the board behind the fins and all around the hard edge of the tail, to give you that bladey cut through the water at speed you require to hold through faster committed turns, the nose foil again tapers to gently ease the extra volume through the centre out towards the rails, giving you a sensitive feel you will never have felt in a longer board previously.
To sum it up, the BP MINI is going to allow for easy entry to the wave, and then be the most versatile midlength board you can imagine. Offering its potential in small to large sized waves. This is one of the most exciting boards we have released since coming up with the ultimate all rounder the doofer. Nothing like it in the market – until everyone sees how awesome these performance midlengths can be!
We are using, Superfused EPS Foam? from US Blanks. It has a tighter fusion and cell structure due to the moulding process of the blank, this means the blank takes less resin and offers a tighter flex pattern than the standard EPS blanks available on the market. If you were, already aware, standard EPS foam has a tighter flex than standard construction boards, so Superfused blanks are a massive step up in that respect. These blanks are around 25% lighter than standard blanks, so with the added flex properties you can see where the added performance comes from when riding the board.
Resin Research Epoxy:
When the board is laminated it happens in a heat controlled environment using ?resin research? epoxy resin.?Resin research? epoxy is ground breaking stuff, not only is it over 40% bio content it is also the strongest, lightest and brightest epoxy on the market. It isn?t just safer to use and better for the environment, it is also the best performing resin we could get our hands on. Given the characteristics of the foam and the resin, this surfboard as a product uses less resin per foot than standard construction surfboards, meaning the weight is further reduced. It all plays a part in why this construction method is so special.
Hexel S-glass fibre glass is used to laminate the board along with the epoxy resin. S-glass is pound for pound the strongest woven 4oz cloth available on the market. Offering up to 4x more tensile strength than other available cloths on the market. As standard we apply two layers of s-glass to each side of the board. The strength to weight ratio really is amazing ? All the while gaining flex recoil instead of having a stiff, non flexing, pop out feel like some EPS epoxy sandwich construction surfboards have.
